I Have a Dream
"I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed; We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal". These were Martin Luther King Jr. words when he said his famous " I have a Dream" speech in Washington D.C. Like Dr. King I also have a dream. It is to see myself on a professional skateboard magazine cover. To have my own pro skateboard shoe that kids look forward to wear. And to finally deserve my name on a professional board. I know its a big dream for such a young and foolish boy from New York, but its a dream that I've had since 16. Dr. King Jr. fought for his dream to become reality by enduring jail time, and unfair police abuse and much more. I'm like Dr. King because I want my dream to come true so I am willing to go through any obstacles and hills to get there. But in order for me to become successful I need to learn and continue to grow. Study things around me, mature, and develop my style. And even if I do become a professional skateboarder, I still have much to learn, life is just one huge chapter test. But in this case if you fail you can just learn from your mistakes and continue from there.
